Since DUP International was formed in 1982 the Dances of Universal Peace have spread around the world, fulfilling Murshid Samuel Lewis’ prophetic vision for them. Our reorganization over the last 3 years established DUP International as a “ray” of the Sufi Ruhaniat International, with over 1,200 Leaders Guild members drawn from all the Sufi orders and from many other spiritual traditions. The Leader Guidelines have also be revised and strengthened to emphasize spiritual transmission and the path of the Leader of this work.

Now we are asking all mentored leaders of the Dances everywhere to join with us in continuing our work into the 21^st century by supporting DUP International financially through annual Leaders Guild fees.  Your membership in DUP International (and in DUP North America which passes your annual leaders guild fee to us) brings many benefits, including:

• Access to our on-line resource library containing over 335 dance write-ups, recordings, video links, articles, esoteric papers and more;
• An on-line directory of leaders worldwide
• International and regional calendar pages for posting your DUP events and dance leader trainings;
• Use of the DUP Logo on your flyers and websites
• Quarterly newsletters with articles on Elements of Mastery by leading mentors
• Regional newsletters and publications

Your membership also helps to make the Dances available to people around the world through translations of our website, key training materials and information into Spanish, Russian, German and Portuguese. It also helps us connect the worldwide community through sharing of common concerns, ideas and resources. Response to our redesigned website, its tools, resources and translations has been very positive.

We are building our worldwide community, our connection with one another in the work that we all love. Now is the time for us to consolidate and build on what has been achieved. After June 30 the above benefits will be available only to the Leaders Guild, those mentored leaders who uphold the Agreements and are current with their annual Leaders Guild fees. If you are not current with your fees, won’t you join us now?

Joining or renewing your membership in one of the formal DUP Regions includes your $30 annual Leaders Guild fees, which they pass on to us. If you reside outside one of the formal Regions, you just pay your fees directly to us as a member of the WOW or "World Wide Region".

If you have a financial hardship in paying your fees, you simply just let us know that and we will pay them with money from our Fees Support Fund. Simply write Martha Bracken in our Seattle office with your reasons for requesting fee support and we will waive your fees for 2012.
